2.5 mile warm up with drills and some strides before our workout.  the workout today was 6x400 with 1x600 in the middle.  this is one of my favorite workouts and i dont know why.  but i felt pretty good! and we hit pretty close to our splits each time.  my pace was a 1:18 and we usually hit between 1:17 and 1:20!

today we ran out by the arizona strip. nice easy run!

today we drove over to the dixie center for our tempo run workout.  .5 mile warm up with some drills then we ran 2 miles out to the golf course.  My pace was a 6:15 and the first mile was a little slow but I stayed consistent with a pace of about 6:20.  this workout gets a little bit easier every time I do it which is nice :)  then I went for a 1.5 mile cool down with rachel and doty!

.5 mile warmup then we did a 4 mile kenyan run.  afterwards I put my spikes on for the first time in a few months and we did 4x200 meter repeats. core and stretching.

today was our first track meet.  We did a 2 mile warm up and some strides before our race.  The first lap of the race was really slow because I was caught on the inside of a huge group and couldn't get out untill about the 400 mark.  after the first lap a finally got out ( without tripping anyone or myself) and broke away from the group to catch the three in front.  I drafted for a while but they were kinda going to slow too so I decided to break away from the canyon view girl and the hurricane girl.  then it was court out ahead me and rachel.  we all finished top three and it was awesome.  The wind definitely made it harder but it was still a good first track meet for me. afterwards me courtney rachel and chloe went the 2 mile workout thing.  me and rachel ran about a 6:55 pace and it felt nice! then I did a quick cool down.

today I biked because I was feeling really sick and i couldnt do really anything without getting  a massive headache :(
